Honors Chemistry

2/3/2011 (Thursday) - Chapter 2. Measurements, accuracy vs. precision. Percent Composition. Standard and Scientific Notation and operations using scientific notation. In homework notebook, show work and do not have to answer in correct significant figures, problems 54-57 on pp. 883-884. Lab report due tomorrow.
2/4/2011 (Friday) - Handed in lab report. Over problems 54-57 on pp. 883-884. Significant Figures and how to round correctly with operations. Problems 58-60 on p. 884 in homework notebook for homework.
2/7/2011 (Monday) - Over Fridays homework. Worksheet on using significant figures and rounding correctly. If do not finish worksheet in class, finish for homework and for homework also read pp. 55-56, answer problems 2-6 (p. 57) and 29-33, 35, 37-44 (p. 60) in homework notebook.

In homework notebook answer problems 13 and 15 (do not need to put in correct significant figures) on p. 72, show work. Lab report due tomorrow.
2/4/2011 (Friday) - Collected lab reports. Significant figures, over problems 58, and 59 on p. 96. How to round to correct amount of significant figures in problems. Over problem 60 on p. 96 and for homework, in homework notebook, answer problems 1, 2 (p. 68), 3, 4 (p. 69), 5, 6 (p. 70), 7, 8 (p. 71), and 14 (p. 72). Show work.
2/7/2011 (Monday) - Over homework from Friday. Worksheet using information learned about rounding to correct significant figures. If do not finish worksheet in class and turn in, finish for homework. Also for homework, read pp. 86-91 and take notes on reading in homework notebook and then answer questions (50. 51 on p. 93) and (74, 75 on p. 96) and put them in homework notebook.
